How did you meet? Aaron and I met in August of 2012 at a bar in Plymouth. We were each there with friends and that night my friend Jenna and his friend Nick hit it off. Nick and Jenna have been dating since that night. Because our two good friends were dating Aaron and I were together pretty frequently and we became friends at first and then over the next few months that friendship evolved into dating.

Engagement story: Aaron’s proposal was amazing! About three months before the day he proposed we had Chinese food one night and my fortune cookie said, “Remember this day, because three months from now will be the happiest time of your life.” I didn’t think much of it at the time, but three months later, on November 15, 2013 I came home from work to a note on my front door that said, “open the fortune cookie before you open the door.” There was an arrow pointing down and at the base of the door was a big fortune cookie. I opened it and it said, “Remember, three months ago your fortune said that this would be the happiest time of your life, now open the door.” I opened the door and there were candles all over the house, the Christmas tree was up with white lights all over it, there was a huge arrangement of flowers on the table, and a trail of rose petals leading to the back door. I followed the rose petals and Aaron was waiting for me in the backyard in the middle of a square of white lights. He even wore a suit and got down on one knee. I could not have asked for a more magical proposal, and thanks to Rottermond, when he opened the little blue box, the ring of my dreams was inside!!
