PRIVACY POLICY

Our policy was last updated on 19th day of January 2011.

We want you to know how we handle the information you send us via the internet. Our policy is your guarantee that any personal information given to Rottermond will remain private. Any personal information gathered will not be sold to any third party for any reason. Rottermond only collects personal information from customers in order to process billing and fulfill orders. We are committed to keeping your personal information private.

POLICY CHANGES

Rottermond will occasionally update its privacy statement to reflect changes in procedures. When Rottermond posts a change, the date reflected on the policy will change. Rottermond may request personal information to:

  • Process an order.
  • Verify your identity for payment authorization.
  • Contact you regarding your order.
  • Ship your order to you.
  • Allow you to apply for financing or insurance.
  • Send you news from Rottermond that may you request.
  • Enter you in a contest, if you request.
  • Your personal information will be used only for processing your order with your credit card company and for expediting shipment of your order with an appropriate carrier. Your name, address or e-mail will not be sold to any mailing list firms.

Rottermond is not responsible for privacy statements on website links away from the Rottermond website.

CHILDREN ON WEBSITE

Rottermond does not collect information on persons under 18 years of age. We ask that children not submit information to us without the clear consent of a parent or guardian.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION STATEMENT

If required by law, court order, or in the good faith belief that disclosure is advisable, we may disclose your information.

SHIPPING POLICIES

Rottermond Jewelers ships only within the United States due to import/export regulations and taxes.
We will ship your items by United States Postal Service (USPS). Depending on the value of your package, it will be shipped out Insured or Registered mail with signature required. Clients requesting expedited service will receive their packages via Express mail which also requires a signature. We urge all clients to inspect their packages for damage or tampering before signing for a carrier, acknowledging receipt.
If you are not home when USPS attempts to deliver your package they will leave a note instructing you that it is being held at the post office. Photo identification will be required to claim your package. Providing your e-mail address will allow us to send you tracking information. You may also track your shipment on the USPS official web site at www.usps.com. Call 248-301-2102 for a shipping quote.
 

GIFT PACKAGING

Rottermond Jewelers is pleased to offer complimentary gift wrapping with your purchase, as well as a gift card if you desire. Our signature packaging is elegant and is suitable for any occasion. If you are placing your order by telephone and would like us to include a personalized gift card with your order, please let your sales professional know. We offer cards for many different occasions, so please let us know if your gift is for a special occasion so that we can select the appropriate card. Your message will be handwritten by your sales professional to include with your beautifully-wrapped gift. There is no charge for this service.

RETURNS

All requests for refunds/exchanges will be processed after our gemologist inspects and verifies the condition of the return. Most items purchased from Rottermond Jewelers may be returned in their original condition and packaging , for a full refund within 7 days of purchase date for in store purchase or 15 days for online purchase. Items may either be mailed back to us as the address below or brought into our store. Your refund will be credited to your credit card.  Returns take five to seven business days to process upon receipt of an item. If you have any questions about return procedures, please call 248-301-2102 and we will be happy to assist you. Certain items, however, may not be returned:
  • Personalized items (ie. initial rings, name bracelets, engraved or monogrammed items)
  • Special Orders (items that must be ordered in a special size or items that we do not normally stock).
  • Watches may only be returned if they are unworn and returned in their original packaging, with all original documentation enclosed.
Please insure your return package against loss in transit. Rottermond Jewelers can not take responsibility for lost packages, or for receiving packages that are damaged while in transit.
